Hot Buttered Soul is one of the greatest Soul Albums ever made, and for me Isaac hayes greatest acheivement. The album is however lesser known by many, even with total soulfans.
For this reason i am publishing a post on this album here for those of you who haven't had the honor and blessing to have been able to listen to this Soul Mega Classic.

Walk on by is perhaps the most well known song on the album, which is a song that has been covered by a multitude of varioous Soul artists over the years. But Isaac Hayes' version is the classic of all classics.

here's another classic version from soul Deva Dionne Warwick from one of my childhood's favourite lunchtime tv programs (i always used to watch it when i was unemployed.. daytime tv is pretty boring in UK as most people are at work so they dont put much on, but pebble mill was one of the few watchable programs.
